Topic: New to Station Playlist

Hello Station Playlist fans..

I am new to Station Playlist.

For the short time i used this program, i am really seeing the benefits of using this tool for programming music.  I only use it for programming - I use SAM for my on-air platform.

I have a queston regarding archiving logs.  Does anyone know if there is a way of keeping a running log meaning joining all the playlists i created for weeks - months - years at a time.  I am noticing in order to do this, i have to create folders for archiving and when i run new schedules it knocks the last set of playlists i created out.  I have to go into file - open to go back to previously made logs in Editor.

Do you follow?  Any hints would be great. Thanks

i would just create an archive folder and manually copy those logs to that folder.

Boy SAM sure does stink at creating dynamic playlists huh? I keep hearing the same songs over and over.

Yes.  I was getting tired of the way it picks songs.  Needed to get more hands on with song selections.  Plus it's kind of fun to handpick music again easily.  I have been using it for MEGASHUFFLE for about a month and think it's a decent product.

I also use J River Media Center for MP3 housekeeping.  This allows you to drag and drop songs into Station Playlist.

Got a nice system setup now with mp3 maint between the two pieces.
